Political ideologies are a significant way to label a person’s values, beliefs, and understanding of the government’s intentions to enhance the system’s use of evoking freedom, order, and equality. In fact, many political parties use their own ideologies when campaigning for office in order to display a better understanding of what they visualize as their potential political agenda. Ideological labels such as liberal, conservative, libertarian, and communitarian each have a different classification in terms of political beliefs in what the government should ideally appear to be. Although these categories can portray one’s political belief dependent on the action of the government, it is rare to come across someone that is convinced by the nature of only one category. Individuals often come to find that they end up believing in separate topics coming from different groupings. This can potentially lead to many social and constitutional clashes when it comes time to support a certain political party. Many factors that can result in this event includes the type of education system one was brought up with, the region being born in, one’s religion, ethnicity and race, gender, and even income. Based on this information and with the great amount of research and surveys that have been taken, I discovered that I am more of a liberal compared to the other ideologies.
